Arizona artist Jordan W. Hill works mainly in ink and digital mediums. When asked about his creative process he nonchalantly states, "I enjoy the process of turning rough ass pencil ideas into colorful, final pieces. Coming up with an idea, shit scribbling with my pencil, then inking with my shaky ass hands and coloring with my broken, colorblind eyes. Eventually, I end up with something I enjoy." You'll find yourself studying his pieces in-depth and getting lost in the details. Like a classic piece of literature, with each re-reading, you find something new. His work is raw, human, and should your eyes drift, his work will almost immediately command your attention at least once more so your mind and heart can give one last go at interpreting the sorrow, despondency, hope, or conviction of the subject matter. In a world consumed by apathy, art at least should still make you feel something.
