Vanessa Estefanía Saavedra Ceballos was born on September 9th, 1997 in Jalisco, Mexico. Saavedra focuses primarily on chalk pastels and 2D media. She graduated with honors from Pima Community College in May of 2019 with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts-Visual and Performing Arts. She is expected to graduate in May of 2021 with a BFA in Studio Arts- Painting and Drawing- at The University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. She has exhibited her work in several shows at Pima Community College since 2017. Her work is currently being exhibited on the virtual University of Arizona BFA show.
