"I’m a self taught artist born and raised in Arizona. Although I don’t like being restricted by a specific style or genre of art, I tend to fall under the “pop-surrealism” or “low brow” category. Since I was young I’ve always been drawn to media that was cute and welcoming visually, but tackled darker, more adult themes. (Tim Burton, Adventure Time, Alex Pardee.) When I started developing my own art style early in my high school career, I loved creating art with dark or unsettling imagery consisting of bright, welcoming colors. As far as my “mission” goes as an artist, it’s simply my way of coping with life and expressing my emotions; I hope others find their own comfort and meaning in my art along the way."
