Nicole Poppell also known as NNUZZO (pronounced new-zo) is a freelance multidisciplinary designer and artist previously based in the San Francisco Bay Area and now residing in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. She has a background in Interior Architecture and Mural Painting and is the founder of Mural Mates LLC with a focus on modern statement pieces through custom murals and art installations. Her work is inspired by the strange and imperfect forms found in nature, and her approach is typically simple yet bold with a pattern-heavy designs and a mixture of neutral and high-contrast colors.
